Hello everybody ! I have a little question for you. What are you doing when you ask some artist the permission to use one of his work and you have no response from him ? The context is: - No mention that we have no right to use his work - Several reminders and still no answer after 3 month (by mail, by notes on DA, by asking directly in the comment zone of the work...) What would you do in this case ? Would you publish your own work based on the artists work anyway ? or would you give up your project ? Thank you very much for your answers. Hi everybody ! Since I'm on DA and publish my abstract creations, I saw many comments saying that fractal art is not really art because it's the computer who's really working, not the artist. This is a point that can be discussed a long time as it depend on the approach you have of the creation process. But I must say that I agree with such comments when, and only when, the artist only push a button on his computer and publish directly the result without working further on it.
